French "Fleur de Lys" £875

Circa 1880, Paris. Length 360mm. This fully restored instrument has the classic double purfled edgework typical of the Paris workshops at the time producing many of these violins for the export markets, featuring the iconic purfled Fleur de Lys in the centre of the back, this violin has been totally restored by me, and is now offered with rosewood pegs and chinrest, ebony fingerboard and fluted ebony tailpiece and fitted with a Despiau bridge.
Lovely rich and sonorous tone, perfect for those wanting an inexpensive but iconic instrument.
