Dave Easeman, folk player. Commissioned Electro-acoustic Vio-4 violin

From the outset, I was impressed with Glyn's knowledge of wood and what affects the sound of a violin. He was able to take my vague requirements for tone, presence and projection, and craft them into a wonderful instrument. The pictures that Glyn sent of the violin as it emerged from various pieces of wood were also an education of the crafting process. I felt involved in that process, from the initial visit to discuss and choose the wood, to the decision on the final finish; I now have an instrument that not only sounds fantastic but also looks great, and will enable me to take my playing to new levels.
